Drafts refer to fast moving cool air that can cause discomfort in the work place. FabricAir systems are designed with the specific application in mind, and the appropriate flow models are selected to achieve the optimal air velocity in the conditioned area. In some applications a draft is desired to cool equipment, but in others it is the main reason for occupant discomfort. Where process and equipment cooling is required, high throw flow models are selected, where as low throw or displacement type flow models are selected in areas where occupant comfort is important eliminating the possibility of drafts.
